Registration

If you are admitted by the CCNU, you need to register in the scheduled time and the procedures are the follows:

1、Scholarship and Exchange Students

1、Please register at Office No.204 with your Passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (Government Scholarship – JW201 Form, Confucius Scholarship and Exchange Students – JW202 Form)。

2、Filling the registration form at the Office No.206 with your Passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (Government Scholarship - JW201 Form, Confucius Scholarship and Exchange Students– JW202 Form) to receive Enrollment Information, providing your information to be issued the Student Card and accommodation registration and banking card.

3、The students who will study in CICE should take part in the placement test at the Office No.207, you will be in the right class according to the exam result.

4、The students who will not study in CICE should get your Registration Notice at the Office No.204 and go to your college to check in.

5、You need to have psychical check-up in Hubei Health & Quarantine Bureau.

6、Applying for the Residence Permit or Visa at the Office No.206.

二、Self-supporting Students

1、Please register at the Office No.204 with your Passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 Form), then getting the bills for tuition and pay at the Financial Office.

2、Go to the Hall of the Financial Office to pay the tuition of international students with the Notice of Tuition.

3、Filling the registration form at the Office No.206 with your Passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 Form) to receive Enrollment Information, providing your information to be issued the Student Card and to arrange accommodation, paying the insurance.

4、The students who will study in CICE should take part in the placement test at the Office No.207, you will be in the right class according to the exam result.

5、The students who will not study in cice should get your Registration Notice at the Office No.204 and go to your college to check in.

6、You need to have psychical check-up in Hubei Health & Quarantine Bureau.

7、Applying for the Residence Permit or Visa at the Office No.206.

三、Keep-on-study Students

On the new semester, international students who have studied for over one semester are required to go through the registration procedures at the Office No.206 with your student ID. Self-supporting students need to show the invoice of tuition.

All international students are supposed to register and report to the ISAO of CICE in the first month of the semester. If you can’t register on time, you need to explain the situation to the Students Affairs Office in advance, otherwise you will be considered to give up your student status on your own and the tuition will not be refunded.

二、Payment procedures

1、Go to the Hall of the Financial Office to pay the tuition of international students with the Notice of Tuition.

2、International students should pay at least one semester.

Visa

1、Students with a valid residence permit do not need to apply for other visas, but must go to office 206 to register.

2、For Students must present their families invitations letters, embassies (consulates) to apply for L visa and read along. Students must prepare stamped proof of kinship for their families by the Embassy (Consulate), valid health physical examination report would be needed to process the residence permit. Accompanying family members cannot exceed a residence permit validity that is valid for the students.

3、Various types of visas, residence permits, and passport pages shall not be altered, damaged, offenders will be punished.

4、Passports should be kept safely; any loss must be reported immediately to office 206 teachers. Students should collect a letter of proof of the loss to the district police station to report the loss, to the Wuhan Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration replaced "Lost proof", and then to the country's embassy (consulate) to apply for a new passport. After the issuance of the new passport, you need to re-apply for residence permits.

Fees and penalties

一、Residence permit costs are as follows:

1、Medical examinations: 300 Yuan; certification fee (authentication without checking): 70 Yuan;

2、One year residence permit fee: 400 Yuan;

3、More than one year, three years residence permit fee: 800 Yuan;

4、More than three years, five years residence permit fee: 1000 Yuan;

5、Residence permit items modification fee: 200 Yuan.

二、Penalties:

International students and their family should check their own residence permit valid dates in time.

If they need to extend the residence permit, please come to 206 office 7 days before the valid dates. The shortest valid date for the residence permit is 6 months, and international students must have fully paid the tuition and insurance.

According to the rules and regulations of Wuhan Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration, students will have to pay for the penalties 500 Yuan a day. Otherwise, Wuhan Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration will take coercive measures such as administrative detention to penalize the students.

Special situations:

1、 If the international student’s passport will be overdue, please arrange the time yourself to renew the passport. If not or overdue, or resulting the residence overdue, you also will be punished by the Wuhan Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration. If you need more time to renew or change your passport, please register it at 206 office two months before the passport is overdue.

2、 If international students fail to pay the full tuition, our school can only grant one-month short-time staying visa paper which can be only issued once. Within such valid period, international students can apply to change it to residence permit once again.

Dormitory regulations

一、Dormitory fees

1、Student dormitory, Building 5,6 set different standards based on room types are as follows:

Single Room: 1200 / month / person; (scholarship Phd, self-supporting , exchange students)

Double: 900 / month / person; (scholarship master, self-supporting, undergraduate, exchange student)

Bunk beds: 750 / month / person; （scholarship pre-school student, self-supporting, exchange student）

Triple: 600 / month / person; (self-supporting, exchange student)

Quadruple: 450 / month / person; (self-supporting, exchange student)

2、The hostel offers television and Internet, students need to pay the related expenses at the internet center:

New registered Internet users, the first payment 50 yuan (including 8 yuan fee, and 42 yuan charge), after the monthly charge network costs by 30 yuan and 10 yuan for television charge.

二、Process for new students coming to stay in the dormitory

三、Application procedures and precautions to replace the dormitory

Students must apply for admission to foreign students dormitory , students are forbidden to exchange quarters without the office permission. If there are special reasons to swap quarters under conditions permitting college beds can apply exchange, the specific process is as follows:

1、Access the international cultural exchange student dormitory College website to download the application form, complete it.

2、Students submit an application for approval to the 206 office.

3、206 office will be assess the application for approval of the month on the 15th and the 30th and give a reply. The remaining time will only accept applications without approval.

4、Each student can only submit one application per semester, more than one application per student will be considered invalid.

5、The applicant is now owed between housing costs need to settle.

6、To apply for replacement of a single room, after the office agrees, government scholarships need to pay a one-time accommodation balance of the year. Self supported Students need to pay a one-time expense of rent for six months.

7、The students can be approved by the exchange, the students do not pass the examination and approval shall not exchange without permission.

四、Noise making

In order to provide each student with a quiet learning environment, college dormitories will be strictly monitored for noise. Students can not hold parties in the dorm, private party; loud music that results in disturbances is prohibited.

For students in violation of the provisions of our penalties are as follows:

Noise complaints specific measures:

1、All students once found making unnecessary noise (including in the garden area between the dormitory building) may complain immediately to the first floor of the dormitory where the security managers are.

2、Students that will be reported for noise making will be warned

3、If the students do not listen to security advice, continue making noise, college students will be given punishment in accordance with the above provisions.

Prohibit noise Time: Day: 12: 00 am --- 14:30 pm; night: 11: 30 pm --- 8:00 am

五. Visitors

Family’s members of students, when friends come to China to visit, you can apply for temporary occupancy. Students need to apply in advance to the 206 office and fill out the download site from ICES 'visitors stay application form ", after approval by the College visitors can stay. Students can apply for admission to the student's immediate family in the same room, no need to pay the price if the student lives in a Single room. Students of non-immediate family members, friends can not stay in student rooms, required to pay the room rates which are as follows

Single room: 120 / day / room

Double room: 150 / day / room

Triple room: 180 / day / room

Quadruple room: 200 / day / room

六. Water and power usage

Dormitory electricity standard: 0.58 yuan / kwh; water standards: 1.9 yuan / ton.

Electric cookers can be used only in the public kitchens, not in room; while high-power appliances, such as heaters, heater, induction cooker and other use is prohibited in the dormitory; gas cylinders and other inflammable and explosive materials prohibited in the dormitory . Once found, they will be confiscated and given punishment.

七、Residence of Students’ family members

1、Campus rooms will not be provided to the spouse or family members. Students can apply for admission to the student's immediate family in the same room, no need to pay the price if the student lives in a Single room on the condition that they must provide a marriage certificate verified by own country’s justice office or embassy. The child or children of international students can not stay in student rooms. The adjustment from shared room to single room will not be approved because of the spouse’s arriving.

2、If the international students invite spouse or family members come to China, please rent a room outside the campus. The spouse or family members can temporarily stay at hotels concerning foreign affairs, but not permitted to stay at students’ room. After providing the off-campus residence registration and insurance, our school can help get visa and permission of staying.

3、The spouse must buy the same insurance as the international students. Otherwise, visa. permission of staying and extension procedures can not be got.

4、If there are any violator, they will be forced out, warned, until the expulsion processing, etc

International Students Insurance Policy

According to the relevant provisions of the Chinese government, students shall participate in a collective insurance withCentral China Normal University,

Scholarship Students (Premiums are paid by the Chinese Ministry of Education)

Government Scholarship Students

一、Standard and content：

The Chinese Government Scholarship living allowance for each month (RMB):

Confucius institute scholarship standard for each month (RMB):

The new full scholarship student will not get one-time relocation costs, books and going back and forth the fare subsidies since September, 2015.

The new full scholarship student should register before 15th of September; they will receive living expenses for the whole month, students registering after the 15th will get living expenses for half a month. You will get half of the living expenses in the month when you will graduate.

2、Distribution method of government scholarship

The office 208 will make the bank card of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China to all the scholarship students and issue next month’s scholarship from 27th to 30th each month. .The scholarship students can come to 208 office to get the bank card with their passports. Once their bank cards are activated, they can get their scholarship for each month.

Please keep the security of the bank card and set security password.

三、Bank card loss and replace

If students lose their bank card, please call the service call of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (95533) to report the loss verbally for the first, and go to the bank counter in the following 7 days with student’s own passport to report the loss.

The bank will provide the students with new bank card 7 days after the report. At this moment, the new bank card’s number has been changed. Please remember to notify the teacher who is in charge in 208 office the new bank card’s number.

The bank system will transfer the balance of the lost card to the new one automatically.

Scholarship Review, Extensions, and Application

一、Scholarship Review Object, Time, and Process

1、Chinese government scholarship annual review

Object：The Chinese government scholarship students who have studied for more than one year or who extend their study period before graduation.

Time：The end of April every year to the end of May

Content：Student’s last year’s academic records、study attitude、class attendance、personal behavior and rewards and punishments.If the student is assessed as disqualified, the scholarship will be canceled or suspended.

Process：

1、Download “The Chinese government scholarship students annual review form”，after filling in the forms，hand it to the teachers in yourrespective departments for signature;

2、Get the verification and the seal of school official;

3、Convoke review seminar to verify the result;

4、Report the results to the CSC.

5、Announce the final result.

Attention：The students who have studied in CCNU for more than one year(two semesters),or who extend their study period all need participate in the annual scholarship review.Graduated students do not need to participate in annual scholarship review.

2、Confucius institute scholarship annual review

Object：The Confucius institute scholarship students who have studied for more than one year.

Time：The end of April every year to the end of May

Content：Student’s last year’s academic records、integrated performance (total ranking of academic records、study attitude、personal behavior、class attendance,etc.)and Chinese Proficiency

Process：

1、Get “The Confucius institute scholarship students annual review

form”in 206 office，after filling in the forms，hand it to the

teachers in your respective departments for signature;

2、 Get the verification and the seal of school official;

3、Convoke review seminar to verify the result;

4、Report the results to the CSC.

5、Announce the final result.

3、CCNU scholarship annual review

Object：The CCNU scholarship students who have studied for more than one year or who extend their study period before graduation..

Time：The end of May every year to the start of June

Process：

1、Download “The CCNU scholarship students annual review form”，

after filling in the forms，hand it to the teachers in your respective

departments for signature;

2、 Get the verification and the seal of school official;

3、Convoke review seminar to verify the result;

4、Announce the final result.

二、The Chinese government scholarship students extended application procedure

apply：Graduated from this school year should be socialized PhD student

application time：The end of April every year to the end of May

application materials：1、download The Chinese government scholarship extension students scholarship application form，The Chinese government scholarship students annual review form，after filling in the forms，hand it to the teachers in your respective departments for signature and the seal of school official .

2、Submit letter of approval from your Embassy.

When you have all these documents please submit them to office 208.

三、The application for excellent self-supported International Students in China Scholarship

Qualifications：students in second-year undergraduate（including postgraduates）and above.

application time：Every year in late April to early May

The scholarship amount：Actual amount will be subject to the notice

Procedure：1、Online application：students must create an account at“laihua.csc.edu.cn” to register and submit an application for electronic information。

2、Submit the following application materials to the school office：①Print individual application form from the website“laihua.csc.edu.cn”；② Studying certificate issued by the school；③Academic Transcripts ;④certificate of participating in various activities during the school;⑤recommendations by full-time teachers（at least two letters）

3、Review symposium verification results.

4、Report the results to the CSC.

5、Announce the final result.

一、Leave of absence procedures

The international students miss classes without teacher’s permission will be recorded, if missing classes for no reason account for 30% of total class hours in a semester, you will be non-qualified for exams. And those who are in serious cases will be expelled from school.
