Representatives from 4 Confucius Institutes Visit CCNU for Cultural Exchanges
Recently, representatives from four Confucius Institutes co-established by CCNU and its foreign partner institutions at the University of Newcastle, Australia (UoN), the University of Kansas, the US (KU), the State University of Surabaya, Indonesia, and Carleton University, Canada, visited CCNU for cultural exchanges and cooperation. Intercollegiate exchanges on the platform of Confucius Institutes are increasingly strengthened.
In late April, Sheree Willis, Director of the Confucius Institute at KU, and Associate Director Kevin Liu visited CCNU to exchange views on student exchange programs. In early May, the Confucius Institute at Carleton University and the International Office of CCNU agreed to widen the channel of communication through the platform of the Confucius Institute. Besides intercollegiate cooperation, various cultural activities have been held between students to enhance foreign students’ understanding of Chinese language and culture.
Since the Confucius Institute at KU was established in 2006, CCNU has been striving for all-dimensional, multi-level and wide-ranging cooperation with foreign higher learning institutions through Confucius Institutes and has gained fruitful achievements.
