Next Overseas Program: Russian Week Program
On January 6th, the conference of the conclusion of “American Week Program” was successfully held in Shaw (Yifu) International Conference Centre.
Led by CCNU International Office, “American Week Program” was the third overseas “CCNU Week Program” after “Canada Week Program” in 2013 and “Australian Week Program” in 2014. Since the end of 2014, 29 units of CCNU have applied for the program and finally 19 units have successfully received support after multiple assessment. By January 5th, 2016, 16 units had visited 60 overseas universities. Through the program , CCNU forged academic links with 21 American top universities and signed 17 cooperation agreements with many famous universities and academic institutes on talents hiring, teachers and students exchange, science cooperation and many other fields.
Ren Youzhou, Director of Human Resource Office of CCNU, gave an introduction of achievements of talents hiring during “American Week Program”. CCNU hold many talents recruitment fair in Chicago, Ottawa and New York, attracted more than 110 overseas talents and signed contracts with many of them. In addition, schools of CCNU imported many top American professors during “American Week Program”.
“2016 is the beginning year of China’s 13th five-year plan, CCNU will therefore lay more focus on Russia, together with the Belt and Road strategy.” Vice President Wang Enke commented on the conference. “Russian Week Program” will continue the College Responsibility System and adopt the integration of “going out” and “bringing in” mode to make further cooperation with Russia.
