President Zuo Bin of Our School Headed Delegation to Australia and New Zealand
July 2nd to 13rd, 2013, President Zuo Bin of our school headed delegation to Australia and New Zealand and visited many universities, Chinese language school and overseas Chinese societies, and promoted our university’s international student education, short-term Chinese language programs and Chinese language teacher training at the 19th annual meeting of Chinese language teacher of Australia on which they reached primary intent of cooperation with relevant responsible person.?xml:namespace> During their visit at Australian Griffith University, two parties expanded cooperation area on the basic of inter-school cooperation agreement signed, and had deeper communication and discussion on exchange programs, short-term student communication. On the 19th annual meeting of Chinese language teachers of Australia, President Zuo Bin introduced CCNU’s short-term and long-term programs to more than 200 Chinese, overseas Chinese and Chinese language teachers present, which received positive response. During the talk, Mr. Zuo and President Xu Yi of Australian Fenghua Chinese Language School reached agreement on carrying out Chinese youth summer camp, teacher training and short-term language programs. Mr. Xu was full of confident to carryout cooperation with Central China Normal University. During the visit at New Zealand, President Zuo introduced about CCNU’s short-term Chinese youth programs to officers of education group of China embassy in Christchurch, New Zealand, director of New Zealand's Canterbury development of Asia, principal of Hubei Fellowship Society in Christchurch, General Manger of New Zealand-China International Training Center and Principal of Rewi Alley Chinese School. Zhang Qi, Teacher of our university, together with Kang Yanjie, teacher of Hubei Province Foreign Affair Office visited Australia and New Zealand.
