China-Russia University of Education Union Launched in Beijing
On April 18, “The Inaugural Meeting of the China-Russia University of Education Union (CRUEU)” was held in Beijing Normal University. Present at the meeting were leaders of six Chinese normal universities directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education and the presidents of six Russian education-focused universities. Mr. Wang Enke, Vice President of CCNU, attended the opening ceremony.
CRUEU is committed to drawing the strength of education-focused universities, facilitating bilateral cooperation of scientific research projects as well as talents exchange programs, and promoting the mutual understanding between Russian and Chinese teachers and students. It also pushes forward the common prosperity and development of culture and education in both countries and infuses vigor and vitality into the reform and development of international education.
